Have a Green Oscar Party

It looks like the pre-party for the Oscars is going to be going all out GREEN! Yes, Global Green USA hosted the party this Wednesday. This means that they gave out Eco-Gift bags this year. The local Missourian Sheryl Crow even made a performance at the party. Read more.

Why don’t you host your own green Oscar Party this Sunday evening? Of course you can follow the same green tips from the Super Bowl party blog to your Oscar Party.

1.) Have your own red carpet. Have fun dressing up in various clothing and taking pictures on your own red carpet. This is a time to take advantage and try on all those dresses and dress up clothes that you never get to wear.

2.) You can also have movie trivia games or other fun games which will make the commercials go by fast

3.) If you like the movie Julie & Julia you can try to make some of the recipes from the movie by using organic ingredients

4.) For dessert try to use organic or local chocolate, see our previous blog

5.) If you choose to have wine try the delicious wine from our Missouri Wineries
