Conveniently located near I-44 and I-64, the Science Center is easily accessible from all major highways in the area. To help you plan the fastest routes and avoid construction traffic, follow the provided directions. Limited free parking is available adjacent to this building and elsewhere in the Park. We encourage event attendees to use alternate methods of transport - such as public transportation, walking or riding a bike - to get to the Saint Louis Science Center. Click here for MetroBus and MetroLink Routes and Schedules. Bike riders will be able to park their bike in the event's secure bike coral.

40/I-64 East (from St. Charles/Hwy. 94 South, Chesterfield, and West County) Highway 40 East to the Forest Park/Zoo Exit

Right on Wells into Forest Park
Follow road to your right until you get to a stop sign at Clayton
Left on Clayton, Planetarium is on the right
Turn right on Faulkner Drive (entrance to Planetarium parking lot)

40/I-64 West (From Illinois & Downtown)

Highway 40/64 West to Kingshighway exit
At the first light, make left on Hospital Drive
Hospital Drive curves to left and then to the right becoming Clayton
Planetarium is immediately on the left
Turn left at Faulkner Drive (entrance to Planetarium parking lot)

44 West (From Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Southwest County, Six Flags)

Highway 44 East to Hampton Avenue
North (or left) on Hampton
Go North over Highway 40. Make right on Wells into Forest Park
Follow road around to your right until you get to a stop sign at Clayton
Left on Clayton. Planetarium is on the right
Turn right on Faulkner Drive (entrance to Planetarium Parking Lot)

55 North (From Bon Terre, Peidmont, Arnold, South County)

Highway 55 North to Highway 44 West to Hampton Ave
North (or Right) on Hampton
Go North over Highway 40
Make right on Wells into Forest Park
Follow road around to your right until you get to a stop sign at Clayton
Left on Clayton Ave
Planetarium is on the right
Turn right on Faulkner Drive (entrance to Planetarium parking lot)

70 East (Wentzville, St. Peters, O’Fallon, St. Charles/Hwy. 94 North, Airport)

Hwy. 70 East to 170 South
Use two right lanes for 40 East Exit
Hwy. 40 East to the Forest Park/Zoo Exit
Make a right on Wells into Forest Park
Follow road around to your right until you get to a stop sign at Clayton
Left on Clayton, Planetarium is on the right
Turn right on Faulkner Drive (entrance to Planetarium parking lot)

EVENT PARKING

You may park on the main Science Center lot ($9) or in Forest Park at the Upper Muny Lot (FREE). A free shuttle will take visitors to and from the Muny lot and the James S. McDonnell Planetarium every 20 minutes, from 9:30am-5:30pm each day.

Please note: no parking except disabled parking will be available at the Planetarium during Eco Expo.
