ECO EXPO 2010

Looking for fun things to do for the family in St. Louis this April? Gather up the kids and head to the James S. McDonnell Planetarium at the Saint Louis Science Center – site of the 2nd Annual 2010 Eco Expo.

This free event features great content for adults and children alike. The green-centric expo includes over 80 exhibits on green products, sustainable practices, eco-minded businesses, plus classes and workshops hosted by local green experts. Throw in good food, great weather and the attractions of the Saint Louis Science Center and you have a fun-filled weekend for the entire family!

ENERGY OFFSET

The electricity used to power the Eco-Expo has been offset with Missouri wind renewable energy credits courtesy of AmerenUE's Pure Power program. Over the course of the two day Expo this will prevent the release of 50,665 pounds of Carbon Dioxide into our Missouri atmosphere, the same environmental benefit as not driving 5 cars for a year.

EVENT PARKING

You may park on the main Science Center lot ($9) or in Forest Park at the Upper Muny Lot (FREE). A free shuttle will take visitors to and from the Muny lot and the James S. McDonnell Planetarium every 20 minutes, from 9:30am-5:30pm each day.

Please note: no parking except disabled parking will be available at the Planetarium during Eco Expo.
